Deleting your data

You’re in control of the data Plug holds about you — including anything we obtained from social accounts you connected (such as Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, or Kick). You can remove it in any of the ways below.

1. Disconnect a single platform

Go to Profile → Platforms, find the connected platform, and remove it. This deletes that platform’s connection and the data we fetched for it (your handle and follower/subscriber count). The rest of your Plug account stays active.

2. Delete your entire account

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This permanently scrubs your profile information; removes your connected-platform data (including stored tokens), profile and portfolio images, and public profile content; takes down your published pitch and license-verification pages; stops any active subscription from renewing; and disables your login. Records we’re legally required to retain (for example completed payments and invoices) are kept only in anonymized form — your account email stays in our authentication system, with the login disabled, to prevent account reuse and fraud. Details are in our Privacy Policy. Before deleting, you can download a copy of your key data from Settings → Account → Export my data.

3. Ask us to delete it for you

Prefer that we handle it — or have a brand account, which doesn’t have the self-service delete screen? Email support@getplug.io from the email address on your account and tell us what you’d like deleted. We respond within 30 days.

4. Not a Plug user?

If Plug holds information about you and you’ve never had an account — for example a business contact listed in our brand directory, or an invitation preview page we prepared about your public creator work — email support@getplug.io (or just reply to the message we sent you) and we’ll remove your details and stop contacting you.

For full details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.
