Reporting infringement
If you believe content hosted on Plug infringes your copyright, your written notice must identify the copyrighted work, identify the infringing material and where it is on Plug (a URL is best), include your contact details, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury, and your signature — the full requirements are in the Terms. When we receive a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously and notify the person who posted it.
If your own content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, the Terms also describe how to file a counter-notice and when material is restored. Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated in appropriate circumstances.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), so please only send a notice you can stand behind.
If a brand misuses your content off Plug
This page covers content hosted on Plug. If a brand keeps using your content beyond the license it bought, Plug’s guided takedown can help you prepare a DMCA notice to send to the platform hosting it — see your deal’s license tools when signed in.
